Hello my names Elisha but I like to be called Lishaa , I’m 21 and from South Wales UK but currently living in Brisbane, Australia. Travelling has been a huge passion of mine from a very young age. I’m very adventurous and nothing brings me more joy than exploring new and exciting places. I’m a bubbly and friendly individual who isn’t afraid to get dirty with some hard work. I’ve always loved working outdoors and experiencing all that Mother Nature has to offer. All corners of the world are different and being able to have the opportunity to experience new landscapes and cultures is something I thoroughly enjoy. I love meeting new people and forming new connections all across the world! I have travelled to many countries in the last few years, some of my favourites include India, Morocco, Italy and Turkey. I hope to gain many more favourites in the coming years. Volunteering is something I love to do as it helps out communities in many ways along with helping me gain skills and experience of different cultures, people and places!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Customer Service -

I have worked for many years in customer facing roles. In coffee shops, restaurants and fast food establishments. I have gained a lot of experience while working these on how to deal with different types of customers and how to quickly solve problems. I am tech savvy so can use company equipment like computers, I am trained on how to handle and count cash efficiently and I also have an outgoing bubbly personality so this pairs well with meeting new people and serving customers, guests or anyone who walks through the door.

Childcare and household duties -

I love being around kids, their energy is so addictive and I feel as though I get along with kids of most ages. I have many nieces and nephews between the ages of 4 - 16 who I regularly take out for activities and also babysit. I am very family oriented and I feel as though this shows in my attitude towards kids. I have worked now for a couple years as an elderly carer and have found many similarities in looking after the elderly and looking after children. I would love to join a family and be not only a companion for the children but also the parents as I am very helpful and love to assist around the house in anyway I can. I’m very organised and neat so enjoy cleaning and I am no expert at cooking but I do love to try especially when I can learn to cook meals from different cultures.
I have also worked for 2 summers at a children’s summer camp in America where I was a general counsellor the first year and the waterfront director the second year. I taught all varieties of water sports and swimming lessons plus outside of teaching hours I would take care of the kids and live with them.

Looking after animals -

I have grown up with dogs my whole life and I currently have 3 sproodles. I absolutely adore dogs and their companionship. Having grown up with dogs, I have alot of experience feeding, walking, bathing and taking care of them.
I’ve had experience volunteering at dog shelters in Turkey & in the Uk.

Animals are a huge passion of mine and their company brings me a lot of happiness. I have experience with a wide variety of animals as i worked on a farm from the age of 14-16 so I looked after and maintained the enclosures of cows, pigs, sheep, horses, donkeys, chickens and other small animals. I also studied animal care in college for a year. So I learnt how to care for and carry out husbandry for rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens, birds, snakes, lizards and other reptiles. plus also working on the college farm tending to the cows, pigs, sheep and goats. With this course I was also able to attain the knowledge of basic veterinary care for smaller animals.
