Hi, my name is Emilie. I am 18 years old and live in a bigger city in Germany. I am currently in my gap year and want to use this time to explore the world and its many different cultures by traveling.
I have always loved getting to know different countries and their unique cultures, ways of living, and natural landscapes. I love hiking and all kinds of outdoor sports, and I am always eager to learn new ones. One of my biggest hobbies is cooking and baking, and I hope to explore new cuisines and their cooking techniques through my travels.
I am an energetic, adventurous, and spontaneous person. But at the same time, I can be really calm, especially if I have only recently gotten to know you (just give me some time ;)).
I hope to get to meet new people and build friendships through my travels. At the same time, I hope to learn more about myself, my capabilities, and what I want to do in the future.

Quais são suas habilidades?
- I like taking care of children and have some experience, as I have many younger cousins with whom I play a lot when I see them.
- I am confident at cooking and baking and have fun making different kinds of meals. I taught myself cooking since I was 9 years old by following recipes and helping my dad make dinner. I am able to adapt to different tastes.
- I have experience taking care of pets. My grandma has two cats and a dog that I help take care of whenever I visit. Aside from that, I also went on walks with the dog of an older lady in our neighborhood during the week.
- I am able to take care of normal household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, and similar tasks. I can also paint walls and repair simple things like the chain of a bike.
- My family has a garden, so I am capable of gardening and taking care of plants.
- My native language is German, and I can speak English fluently.
