Hejsa :)
We’re Emilie and Lauritz, two curious and spontaneous souls from Copenhagen who recently completed our studies in natural sciences at the University of Copenhagen. We find joy in everyday adventures—whether it’s taking a new route through the city or stumbling upon a hidden courtyard.
Right now, Emilie is learning Lindy Hop (with great enthusiasm, if not great skill!) and Lauritz is practicing Taekwondo. Despite being a bit afraid of heights, we both enjoy bouldering and pushing our limits in fun ways.
A few years ago, we had two unforgettable Workaway experiences in Croatia and Finland—experiences we still talk about with warmth and nostalgia. We're excited to meet new people, learn new things, and create more inspiring memories together!

I (Emilie) just love languages. I went to a French school I Denmark, so I speak the language fluently. However, I don't have a lot of opportunities for speaking French in my everyday life, and I seek every opportunity to speak French. Moreover, I really try to maintain the German that I have learned during my study exchange in Germany. I (Lauritz) am way better at English than Emilie, but much worse at the other languages, would love to learn them again though.

Here are some bullet points about my skills:
- We are an open minded couple that is good at talking with people and make them feel good. We are also comfortable being with kids :)
- We are active and strong, and we enjoy being physically active. We are used to hard work and really don't mind getting sweaty and dirty.
- We are responsible, efficient and independent, and we are very good at learning new stuff.
- We live in a historical dorm with 100 students and are used to, and enjoy, being around a lot of other people
- We're always smiling!

She stayed 2 weeks home, doing all kind of stuff from gardening to woodwork. I really enjoyed her presence.
