My name is Evelyn (Evie) Rose, I am a 22 year old from Cape Cod, MA, USA.

I am passionate about yoga, culture, language (Spanish!), photography/ceramics, and nature/animals.
I am hoping to travel through Latin America over time to explore and learn from any and all cultures. I have a deep respect for indigenous communities and history. I have traveled around Costa Rica, and to Ecuador- I loved exploring Quito and spending time in the Amazon with the Sani community.

I am certified to teach Vinyasa yoga, and I would love to be able to guide anyone I am surrounded by through classes. I believe in the power of breath and movement, and that practicing yoga can be life changing.

I grew up in a surf/beach town, so I have always loved an active lifestyle centered around the environment. I am very easygoing and always interested in learning. I have had jobs in all sorts of areas- photography, fishing, customer service, landscaping/gardening, childcare...so I have a few different skills to offer. I have also been riding horses since I was five and I am an experienced rider, so I would love to volunteer places that need horse care.

As far as education, I have graduated from high school and taken some college classes, and I believe in taking my time to study. I think that sometimes the most impactful learning can happen outside of a classroom.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have been working since I was 14 so I am used to hard work and I take every task at hand seriously. I have a background in customer service and food services. I am personable, I love talking to people, and making connections. I volunteered at a local farmers market throughout high school, which instilled a passion for sustainable agriculture and farming in me. I have been riding horses since I was 5, and I love animals and caring for them. Farming and gardening come naturally to me as well, I have been landscaping for two years. I also have a background in shellfishing. I am very passionate about photography, and I love making art and crafting. I have managed social media pages for different businesses in the past, as well as website design and promotional photography. I have an eye for beauty and I love helping to create art.

I love creating things with my hands, being present in nature, and practicing gratitude for the world around me. I like sewing and crafts, as well. Exercise for the mind and body are important for me, I am always looking for that balance. Yoga, meditation, horseback riding, paddle boarding, surfing, walking, hiking, photography, and working outdoors are some of my favorite activities.
