Hi! We are Mariana and Gabriel , two curious souls on a journey through life and the planet.

Mariana is passionate about inner growth and outer discovery. She loves to learn about nature, cultures, people, and mostly, about herself. Her heart is rooted in mindfulness and authenticity.

Gabriel has always been fascinated by the world, spending hours exploring it through Google Maps. When the opportunity came, he lived in Ireland and Italy, deepening his connection with different cultures.

We met online, guided by synchronicity, and since then we've been walking this path together, as partners, learners, and wanderers.

Together, we are an open-hearted couple who believe in kindness as a daily practice. Our goal is to exchange not only work but presence, sharing skills, stories, and smiles with those we meet.

We are respectful, curious, hard-working, and always willing to help with joy. We believe real connection happens through simplicity, generosity, and a willingness to grow.

I'm Mariana a passionate and grounded soul with experience in hospitality, farm work, and caregiving. I've worked in restaurants, as a cleaner in Dublin, and on a volunteer farm where I cooked, planted, and cared for animals. I’m also confident taking care of children and pets with patience and love.

I have a deep connection with spirituality and yoga, which brings calm and intention to everything I do. I'm organized, adaptable, and always eager to help and learn.

Gabriel, my partner, has experience in customer service and hospitality, and although he won’t be joining me on this trip, we’ve shared many learning journeys together that shaped who I am today.

We would like to report our honest opinion about camping.
Quirien texted us saying he needed help immediately and we arrived at the camping after two days.
Initially we were received very well, but in the first week we already realized how much we lacked an organized management, although the campsite was scheduled to open in two weeks and had a… read more lot to be done, we worked a few hours in the first week, given our interest in the place we always asked was going and what we could improve and according to owner everything is working well.
The following week (the week it would be reopened) we noticed that those responsible noticed that time was short and every day they planned what should be done, but in addition to not having the guidance that would be needed, the time that was given to do the activities was incompatible, because everything was disorganized and needed more time.
The second week was stressful and we saw how unprepared the owner was for the role she was doing, the little contact we had with Mick, we've seen authoritarian behavior.
Two days before the inauguration we worked about 9 hours under pressure.
Finally, on the opening day of the campsite, many things were still undone, and again it put pressure to do it in an insufficient time.
The onwer informed that before guests arrived, she was going to return to the campsite and help me receive them, but she didn't come back in time, she left everything for me and Gabriel to solve.
Clearly guests saw the lack of organization and we felt lost, but we were doing our best.
On Monday of the following week we were informed that our profile was incompatible for the vacancy, that we would have to leave the campsite, who didn't have enough time for us to teach.
It was definitely our worst experience on this platform.
Soon after, they deactivated the profile because they knew we were going to leave a negative comment, but we were always following up, just to make it clear to everyone that it will be a job that you will feel overwhelmed.

Final conclusion; We concluded that the search for volunteers is for the search for cheaper labor, not for the exchange of experience as described in the profile, even because the function is to manage the camping, but the minimum will be paid per hour, and we had to be available all the time, we received messages about the work all the time, including on Sunday night, the region does not have many things to do, Caranava is too small and may be difficult to adapt, it does not have Wifi and we had problems with this, taking care of the children can be challenging. The owner changes plans all the time and this can make you anxious and insecure. We hope that those responsible will have more empathy and sincere communication in future.

Mariana y Gabriel fueron una pareja increible, Mariana nos ayudo dando clases de yoga a los huespedes (los huespedes amaron sus clases de yoga) y ademas nos ayudo haciendo publicaciones en las redes sociales. Gabriel nos ayudo en la parte de housekeeping, y fue muy ordenado responsable y organizado. Fueron excelentes, los recomendamos a mil!

We stayed for ten days, we really loved this experience. The hostel is super clean, cozy, with good staff, the breakfast is nice. Thank you team for this incredible experience and this opportunity to learn more.

Gabriel y Mariana es una pareja amorosa, siempre nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos y se llevaron muy bien con el staff, otros voluntarios y huéspedes. Nos ayudaron en el desayuno, limpieza y redes sociales. Los recomiendo 100% y siempre serán bienvenidos!
