Hello! I'm Mikal and first things first, curiosity is what drives me. From the wilds of the tropics to my own backyard, this amazing world never ceases to intrigue me. That being said, you can find me avidly pursuing more experience in all areas of life, be it music, art, languages, sciences, athletics and beyond. Having already lived abroad, I would certainly testify that life's best education lies just beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones, and for that very reason I'm here looking for new experiences. Ideally, Workaway should provide a wonderful platform by which to not only learn new skills, but also to found new friendships, create memories, and with any luck, laugh a whole lot. I sincerely hope we get the chance to meet one another!

Quais são suas habilidades?
I am a quick learner and always hungry for more. I also love being a beginner at things, especially when they are practical and can be directly applied to work. I would also add that patience is my number one asset. I've worked many jobs, mostly in industry(fabrication, auto glass), but also in landscaping, food service and general labor. I have taught classes at the University of Maine during the day, while spending my evenings washing dishes in a Thai restaurant. Needless to say I like the diversity!
