Hi, I'm coming to spend 2 and a half months in New Zealand. I'm traveling solo and would love to meet new people. I'd like to go on several WorkAway missions to discover different places and people, especially on the North Island. I surf a bit, so I'd like to work near surf spots! I love working outdoors, but what I enjoy most is the contact (with people and animals).

I'm currently working in water treatment and waste management, mostly outdoors. I enjoy spending my days outdoors, and in my spare time I'm outside all the time, whatever the weather. I enjoy looking after my parents' garden and my plants, as well as our animals.
I also enjoy cooking meals and baking for my loved ones.

My experience with Wendy was wonderful. I stayed with her for 6 days and loved sharing meals or long discussions with her. She's a very interesting person with whom you never feel the time go by. I was delighted to stay with Robyn and Malcolm for 9 days to help with the laundry and feed the ducks and chickens. The place was very pleasant with a lush garden. And my hosts were the kindest. I'm blessed to have been able to stay here, while still being able to enjoy the island. I recommend it 100%. Thanks again :)

I stayed with Deborah and her family for 10 days and it was very pleasant. I never had time to get bored because there was always something to do! I love working outdoors and I was delighted. I can highly recommend Maela. She is a great worker and very easy to have as a guest in our house.
Maela was a bit nervous when she first arrived - it was her first Workaway experience, and during her stay with us Maela experienced more first experiences. But she quickly grew in confidence, learnt fast and was determined to do her best.
