Hello!

We are a family of three. Geraldine, Brian and 10 year old daughter Aeon.

I, Geraldine, am a farmer/artist/mother with a passion for learning. I am currently diving deep into sustainable fiber farming and production which has brought me experience in sheep shearing, wool handling, flax growing and processing, dye plant farming, spinning yarn and hopefully soon... weaving. I am particularly interested in learning about regenerative systems that integrate trees and sheep.

I am a lifelong learner, always engaged in a project and the cornerstones of all my learning endeavors are self-sufficiency and sustainable lifeways. I also have a Bachelors of Fine Art from St. Norbert College in the US.

I have a squirrel like instinct to harvest and store food! I grow, glean and forage as well as buy in bulk from local farms to always have wholesome food on hand for my family.

Brian's skills center around critical thought and logic. He can figure out how to do just about anything that is based in patterns and logic! Brian holds a Bachelors of Science in both Digital Art and Psychology from The University of Oregon in the US.

For the last four years Brian building a educational mobile video game based on the Peruvian story of Atahualpa. Prior to teaching himself programming and game development Brian worked with youth in a variety of settings with a focus on mental and behavior health. He is an all around handy-man and strategic problem solver. He really enjoys designing systems and building things with the constraints of the materials at hand.

Aeon loves to play active games with friends. She is also an avid reader and wants to live with lots of animals! She is bilingual in English and Dutch and would like to learn another language. She is strong willed and sometimes shy but once comfortable makes friends easily. We hope to find locations where there are some children for Aeon to play with, or adults who take an interest in talking to, teaching or playing with children!

Collectively we are a creative, ecologically minded family!
