Hello, we are Raquel and Felipe!

We are a little family of 3 that left Canada , after living there for 9 years. Bernardo, our little one, is almost 2.5 years old. He is a very gentle and sweet boy who feels extremely comfortable in nature.

We have been back to Workaway and using it for about 4 months now. We experienced retreats, families, communities , a variety of projects , etc, etc.

Together we did a lot. 💪💪💪

🍃Created projects from scratch, cooked for big groups, supported families and children in different communities, as well as pruning, gardening, constructions, building yurts 🛖 from scratch, helped to build a stone washroom, engaged with other members of community to support their friends in a variety of tasks, wood work, we supported to family/owners in many tasks such as: cleaning all the rooms for guests, gardening, renovation of the fount, cleaning all the domes and activities areas, cleaning weeds from tennis court, fixing the pool with some cement and handy mantainance, helping with marketing strategies, grocery shopping, renting car, pick up and drop of clients, taking them to excursion, cleaning the main house, supporting with kitchen, painting general rocks around the place. We also did house sitting, farm sitting ( cats, dogs, horses, chickens, garden) , etc, etc.🫧

🍃Usually we were initially given 5 hours to make it all, but we ended up following the flow of the sun, of our son, and our own, making sure we delivered everything on time. So we work as a team to support the main goal of the project in a healthy way. Sometimes we also add extra work to support the leaders of the project. It is beautiful.

🍃My background is in Early childhood education. I still work in the field for over 10 years and I would love to support your project in exchange for you hosting our little family. I currently do online consultation for schools abroad, educators, worldschoolers, unschoolers and homeschoolers. I also hold space for children and their family and invite them for activities that embraces Breathing and Self Expression.

Hello! My name is Raquel. My profession is Early Childhood Educator. My favorite things are children, nature, food, and being surrounded by people who are willing to make a difference in the world. Creating new things and having meaningful conversations are really special to me. Getting people connected to their best selves is one of the best skill I have. Life is full of love for me and I have a big heart. Dedicated, loyal, and easygoing are some of the qualities I possess.

I used to travel alone until I met my best buddy and experienced our first Workaway together. Now that we have a child, we want to continue this journey together as a family. We have a wonderful baby boy who is ready to begin this journey with us as well!

Felipe's skills are amazing! His commitment and respect are outstanding. He gets up super early and is full of energy when he starts the day! For ten years, he worked as a personal trainer, for two years he was a chef in Dublin, and for the past two years he has been working in construction. He loves traveling and is currently in country number 32.He enjoys cooking, gardening, hospitality, and supporting everyone who crosses his path. No matter what task or project he takes on, he does not hold back!
