Hi! I am Sacha, 20 years old, from France.
I just finished my second year in anthropology studies in Paris and I am planning on doing workaway over the summer in Norway!
I am trying to have a low-impact lifestyle (vegetarian/local, thrifting, etc) as much as I can being a young student in a city and I am looking forward to learn new ways of living.
I am curious, motivated and willing to try and learn as much as possible from nature and people and will do my best, I try to always keep a positive mindset!
As for languages, I am french and I also speak english. I studied spanish at school and I am starting to learn norwegian through apps and videos and I can’t wait to learn more from people in real life :)
I learnt and now play a couple instruments and would love to discover new ones and traditional music!
I did different type of sports and if there’s an opportunity to learn new ones I am willing to try anything!
Update 2024 :
I had the chance to work at two different locations during the winter of 2023 in England : in both places I have met wonderful people and learnt a lot! I am very grateful for these experiences and all the memories made and I am looking forward to create new ones! I also had another great stay while woofing in France in summer 2023!
Update 2025 :
I had such an incredible experience last summer in Norway,I loved the country and the people so much that I can't wait to go back!

I am really interested in learning new languages as I think speaking a new language and learning about it can bring another perception of life and contribute to become more and more open minded since there is not always the perfect translation for certain concept, etc. and of course even though english is widely spoken today, it's always a plus to be able to learn a language that allows you to speak with minorities, elderly people, or to contribute to keep a legacy of the dialect of our ancestors :) I just have a lot of fun learning and trying to speak in another language in general! Since I am French I hope I can help you learn a little about my language if you are interested!

Quais são suas habilidades?
In my previous woofing experiences I had the chance to participate in a variety of tasks inculding : pruning trees, planting trees, cutting thin wood, building new compost bins, taking care of chickens, pigs and horses, cleaning greenhouses, working in polytunnels, preparing vegetable boxes, etc.
I also worked in a restaurant in Paris, where I did the service, bar and a little in the kitchen!

About traveling :
I try to avoid travelling by plane so I am planning on coming to Norway by bus and train through Germany, Danemark and Sweden with the help of Couchsurfing!
About my "goals" :
I have always dreamed of kayaking in the fjord of Norway or surfing so I hope to be able to do one of those things soon! Also I have never really been in moutains in the summer (I've always seen them in the snow during winter) so I can't wait to discover the landscapes and the activities that it can offer!

I am a vegetarian since I was 13 years old but I am used to being surrounded with people with different eye on the matter! It is mainly for environmental and animal well being reasons so if it is localy sourced and done in a respectful way I am not agains

She was always positive, smiling, easygoing, communicative, interested, no tasks was to small or too big for her.
We had such nice weeks together and we miss her so much from the day she left 😭 and hope to see her again as a guest in our house! She is always welcome back!
