Hi there!
We are a couple from Denmark who have been in Canada since January 2025. We are 30 and 27 years old. We love to travel and meet new people and learn new things. We are hardworking people and love to helping others.

Marie-Louise:
I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Fyn in Denmark. I graduated as a psychomotor therapist back in January 2024.
I am an outgoing and energetic woman who loves working with people.
I love helping in the garden and being in the nature. I love going for walks, bicycling, sailing in a canoe or kayak. I love cooking and baking and love to be creative, everything from pottery, painting, sewing or knitting lovely sweaters. Being outdoors, working with my hands, and seeing the direct impact of what I do brings me a lot of fulfillment.


Torsten:
I have worked hard jobs at a slaughterhouse, warehouse and a factory and am now working as an assistant carpenter to save up for the upcoming adventure to Canada. I have been a substitute teacher at a small private school for about 6 months, and have other experience with teaching at university when studying English.

I enjoy the outdoors, and last year in August, I went for a solo hike to Jotunheimen National Park in Norway. I actually like the cold, and I enjoy getting out there and experiencing all the beauty that nature has to offer.

I play the guitar - occasionally. And I am not afraid to lighten the mood with a song or some other activity.

I have yet to explore the extreme natural wilderness of Canada, and this for sure is one of the biggest reasons for me to visit the country. I am currently living on the small island of Bornholm located east of Denmark. Here I’m residing in an eco-village called Friskoven and working full-time.

In January 2024, I graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering at Aarhus University in Denmark, and have since felt the urge to travel and start realising some of the dreams that have been delayed for way too long.
