Descrição

We are an artistic Bulgarian-American couple, people who paint, play music, enjoy nature, and like to learn. We are always on the move and fund our travels as we go by performing on the street or private. We always seek opportunities to meet other artistic people to collaborate.

We've got way too many interests to list, but to give you an idea, we dream of building our own house one day and growing all the delicious food we can because we love food and mud! We want to develop a self-sustainable life by learning to make all we need ourselves and volunteering sounds like the perfect way to prepare for this!!

We like to make the things we need with what we have and find cool stuff in the dumpsters.

And ignoring what I said above, there is a list of things we are eager to learn more about:

This list gets longer and longer all the time! We'd be happy to share our own experiences in such spheres.

And lastly we don't drink, Sasha smokes pipe tabaco once or twice a day OUTDOORS.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Dimitrina is an artist by heart and Sasha is an accordion player by trade who can also play a couple other instruments well enough. Both of us are fast learners and can become deeply personally involved with projects that we truly enjoy, easily putting our hearts into them.

*BUILDING/GARDENING
Sasha has a background in construction as he comes from a family of carpenters and builders. He can operate all the common power tools found on a construction site, knows how to work with wood, and also has some basic knowledge of gardening. DD is new to both gardening and construction work, but she works very precisely and learns super fast once shown what to do. She can run some power tools, paint, plaster, silicone and such. She has an eye for the small details and loves to play in the dirt. We are experienced in building with concrete.

*ART STUFF
DD went to school for animation and has some experience with digital art and design. She can paint and illustrate everything from murals to caricatures. Both of us are into handcraft, but especially Sasha, he's super handy and creative: DIY - embroidery - woodwork, knife-making, you name it. We would love to learn more about old traditional crafts.

*CHILDCARE
We truly understand the importance of a healthy environment for a child to grow in, and how sensitive and conscious people should be in their communication with a little human. We want to learn more about alternative parenting and teaching as one day we can homeschool our own children. DD has experience in babysitting and has worked as an entertainer for children's parties. She has taught (as a volunteer) children in elementary school about recycling and environmental education.

*PET/FARM SITTING
Huge animal lovers! DD has volunteering experience in dog shelters. She is curious about zoology and animal conservation. Sasha has experience with fostering animals and has adopted many together with his mother in the US, helping them to recover from injuries and survive for a better life. We have some experience in taking care of farm animals including bottle feeding lambs. We are really interested in learning much more about farming (raising dairy animals, birds ect.)

*OTHER RANDOM SKILLS
Sasha has experience with sailing on a sailboat and DD's a passionate cook. She can cook anything from scratch as long as it doesn't have legs :D She has a lot of experience practising yoga, but is curious to learn more about the human body and other ways to keep it balanced and healthy. She has experience with craft beer brewing and bartending as well. She's interested in learning the art of clowns and intuitive singing, she's excited to meet people who know more about circus art!! Sasha can perform music from classical pieces, through jazz, polka, cumbia down to balkan tunes. He is excited to meet other musicians on our adventures!
