Hello fellow adventurers! I grew up in New York City, and am happiest away from gridlock, and close to the sound of crickets at night. My passions are music and playing percussion, gardening, permaculture, being in Nature, manual moving-your-body work, holistic health living, and using self-sufficient means to thrive.

I freelance video edit (luckily, it's work that permits mobility), play in a band, speak Spanish, teach yoga, love to help others learn how to breathe and let go as they can. Meeting new people and learning new things are what I'm here for!

Quais são suas habilidades?
I've been tending a front and back yard garden for a while now. Currently growing a variety of vegetables and fruit. I live in coastal North Carolina where everything is sand, so when I started the garden I laid down a foot of wood chips and went from there.

I have edited video for 25 years, mostly with Final Cut Pro. I'm 80% fluent in Spanish. I'm great with babies and kids. An upbeat people person. I love to help where help is needed. And to connect with others who like meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I have a B.A. in Anthropology from Barnard College in NYC.

I'm especially interested in learning while doing in the fields of permaculture, alternative energy and building materials, among many others.

I would love to learn swing dancing, tango, and currently play African djembe drums with a group.

Anita was kind enough to host me for a week. I found her property and Alachua beautiful. She has 70 pecan trees, a large garden, a very cool winding driveway that passes under arching greenery. I spent a week at Cynthia's homestead and it was a very good experience. I was excited to learn that she has 27 different fruit trees! And types of plants I've never heard before, like chaya spinach.
