Hello !
My name is Cécile and I'm 22. I'm studying for a degree in social work :) I'm from French-speaking Switzerland. I love travelling and learning new languages! It's a real passion for me. Discovering new cultures and their traditions. I've already travelled on my own and I love it. For the freedom it gives me to discover things for myself and for the incredible people I meet along the way :) I spent 3 months in Scotland to improve my English and 4 months in Italy to learn Italian. I had two incredible experiences with Workaway! And because I loved these experiences, I decided to go back to discover a new culture, new traditions and learn another language that I love: Spanish :) By registering with Workaway again, I'd like to experience all that again :) (I'm looking for a 2 week stay in Spain)
I love doing sport ; run, dance, salsa cubana, and I love any kind of team sports :) (football, basketball, hockey, volleyball... :). My 2 central passions are music and dance. I play the piano and ukulele. I like to go to flea markets and thrift shops. I have a pretty green lifestyle.
I am a very positive and smiling person. I am almost always in a good mood and with a lot of energy. I am trustworthy and respectful.

I'd like to learn Spanish. I took a Spanish course at school for a year and loved the language. I would therefore like to improve my Spanish and would be grateful to find someone who would be willing and patient to speak to me in Spanish and welcome me to learn. I am open and enthusiastic about teaching/speaking French, English or Italian!

Quais são suas habilidades?

My main skill is social and cultural. I'm studying this because I really like people and their cultures and I want to make the most of all that through projects.
Something more down to earth is my language which is a skill I guess :) French is my mother tongue. I'm fluent in English. I learned it for 9 years at school (and spent 3 months in Scotland to improve it). I studied German for 8 years at school but haven't practised it much since.
I now speak fluent Italian after spending 4 months in Italy.
I did a 3-year apprenticeship as a hotel specialist.
This included cleaning, catering, reception, logistics, interior design, plant and flower care. I also worked in the kitchen. I made sweet dishes that we sold in our establishment. I also did some sewing. I learnt the basics: sewing on buttons, hemming, etc.
I worked for 6 months in a home as an activity leader for the elderly. I did painting, pottery, music therapy, etc.
I also worked for 6 months in a cultural centre, where I learned how to manage projects and worked with teenagers and children.
