Hello there, I am a 1/2 English & 1/2 Italian woman in her 40s with loads of travel experience.

I am a secondary school geography teacher trained/worked in England. Before retraining as a teacher I worked with the UN for 13 years on environmental management projects related to industries in developing countries. I have lived in many & very different parts of the world with people of all sorts of backgrounds, and am pleased to say I have always got along with everyone.
I am passionate about sustainability and have also worked as a volunteer in other European countries mainly on land-based jobs related to permaculture and biodynamics, and have enjoyed it very much. I love the Workaway platform and have used it several times to enrich my holidays by getting to know in a little more depth the countries I visit: meeting and spending some time with local residents (so far I have had great experiences meeting fantastic individuals, families and homesteads!) I consider myself a friendly, trustworthy, organised and a hard working person that is willing to give anything a go. This time I'm choosing to stay put in England and explore areas I've never been before.
