Hi:)
I'm Elina and I will turn 22 this summer. I will finish my current job in April, soo I will have lots of time to travel again (yeyy🥳).
My first solo trip was in the summer of 2023, which is also when I collected my first experience with workaway. So far I have really enjoyed the concept. I think the work/travel balance works really well for me and I have been able to take away much inspiration, so many connections and so much joy.
I'm looking for cool people/families who could use a helping hand with all sorts of things. I don't need much to be happy and I'm good at adjusting to new people.
In my free time I enjoy spending time alone doing sports, secondhand shopping, photography or with friends in front of a cup of coffee, walking around the city or in nature.
I grew up in the countryside of Switzerland and since I moved out 3 years ago I live in the biggest city of Switzerland in Zurich (which is still pretty small).
I grew up around lots of animals and I'm always overjoyed to go home and cuddle my cat Sissi.

I'm swiss therefore my mothertongue is German. I'm also quite good in english since I learned about and used it since I'm nine years old. I was also teached french in school for about seven years but sadly I'm not very good at it, because I could never use it besides school.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm a biology lab technician and I currently work in a project concerning arthropod diversity in flower strips.
But I could also collect some working experience in gastronomy, hospital and animal care.
The project that I work in will finish soon, therefore also my position. In the past years, I decided to connect my passion for biology with the medical field. So if everything works out, I will start studying midwifery in September. Until then, I want to use the time to travel.
In highschool I babysat frequently. I always enjoyed being around kids and feel their welcoming and happy energy, but due to the lack of time, I don't do it often anymore:(
I really like cooking and I do it everyday for myself (vegetarian and vegan). Since I live not with my parents anymore, I’m also good at housekeeping and cleaning.
I also like to get my hands dirty in the garden, solving smaller problems around/ in the house, stables ect.
By now I could already experience four different workaways.
