Hello! My name is Eden and I am super excited to be starting my Workaway journey.

I live in the United States (California and Minnesota). I am 24 years old, on a life "gap year" before starting my graduate degree in biology next fall. I graduated from my bachelors degree three years ago and spent a few years working in full-time research before leaving my job to travel for a bit and embark on this gap year/sabbatical. I have spent the past few months working in the service industry and am excited to get back to traveling/exploring soon.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, meeting new people, trying new food, and learning/practicing new skills. I'm motivated by the opportunity to push myself outside of my comfort zone!

I speak intermediate Spanish (I can understand a lot more than I can say myself) but would love to improve my language skills!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have experience with farm work (agricultural work like planting and weeding crops, animal care like milking cows, shearing sheep, horse care and smaller animal (dog, cat) care), building repair/woodwork (ex. re-shingling a roof, painting, building a fence), teaching (language and other subject tutoring) and food service (serving and support positions) . I love being outside, am a fast learner and a hard worker, and don't mind challenging physical labor.
