Hi! I’m Maggie, a 30-year-old from Poland currently in Australia on a Work and Holiday visa. I’m an open-minded and positive person with a passion for new experiences and adventures :) I’m also a bit of an analog photography nerd and a ceramics enthusiast.

For the past few years, I worked as a Learning & Development Specialist in Amsterdam. Before and in between, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world—and right now, I’m soaking up the beauty of Australia.

Through Workaway, I’m excited to get involved in a variety of tasks and learn new skills along the way. I’m particularly interested in areas like sustainable living, natural building, gardening, and home maintenance—but I’m just as happy to help out with daily chores, cleaning, or creative projects. I bring experience in project and event management, photography, and hospitality, and I’m always up for learning something new or lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

I’ve completed a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and a natural building course, working with cob and slip straw. Most recently, I’ve been working with timber, helping to build the timber frame of my Workaway host’s house!

I have experience in project and event management, photography, natural building (cob, slip straw, timber framing), and gardening. I’m also comfortable with general household tasks, cleaning, and creative, hands-on work. I’m reliable, open-minded, and a fast learner, always happy to help wherever needed.
