Hello!

My name is Naomi Rose. My core values include carrying myself with dignity, operating with a strong moral compass, and being of service.

I’ve worn many hats in this lifetime. Most of my professional career has been in psychiatric nursing and teaching at the collegiate level. About five years ago, I set-sail for an intentional journey of self-exploration.

My first solo trip, in 2022, was in Portugal, along the Camino de Santiago. Since then, I’ve used Workaway and WorldPackers to travel to New Mexico, Louisiana, Texas, Oregon, and Orcas Island, WA. During these experiences, I helped renovate a spiritual and wellness center, was a housekeeper at a hostel, managed a ranch, hosted musical campouts, and am a groundskeeper at a rustic resort.

This time is a gift. Amongst many lessons, I’ve learned that I am never alone and always home. Traveling fosters such unique opportunities to share and receive from others while instilling confidence and adaptability.

On a regular basis, you can find me working with beads, mending my things, hiking, reading, and cooking. Music and dancing is a big part of my life.

One of my highlighted strengths is the ability to bring people together and create community. I am often playful and lighthearted. I can also hold space for others in difficult times. I enjoy simple pleasures and find that I need less and less as I develop myself. Time in nature and companionship are the greatest comforts.

Others often describe me as genuine and down-to-earth. I find it important to help people feel safe and seen. I’m curious and adventurous. I have a hunger for varied experiences and strive to be a bright light in this world.
