Descrição

Hello! We are Matthew and Elise. We've been living here and there for a few years, meeting people and exchanging ideas about living and working collectively and collaboratively. We’re looking for opportunities to work with people that want to be more self-sufficient and live in harmony with their environment.

Matthew loves building with wood clay or mud, gardening, making ceramics, cooking, baking bread, lifting heavy things, music, swimming, running, and foraging. He studied civil engineering and worked for 5 years designing and managing the construction of buildings. Now he's moving towards building with more sustainable materials.

Elise loves working with plants in every capacity, she's interested in herbalism, and making natural products and loves cooking, baking, fermentation and preserving foods. She loves being in the garden, planting seeds, weeding, harvesting etc. and any work that involves being outside.

We both have a few years experience growing plants, gardening, farming, producing our own food, reforestation.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Matt is a builder and engineer, mostly with timber frame and earthen construction. He has experience with construction, site planning and building design, having worked as a facade and structural engineer. He has done a lot of carpentry work over the last few years.

Elise has experience with gardening, herbal and alternative medicine, natural cosmetics, and plant care.
