Hello travelers! My name is Karen (Caribbean) and together with Jeff (Netherlands) and Simon (Kenya) we recently opened a cozy small-scale eco camp (sleeps 10) in the heart of Kenya's Maasailand, close to the world famous Masaai Mara National Reserve. Set in nature, our regular VIP's include Elephant, Zebra, Gazelles, Monkeys, Baboons Birds, Bushbabies and more!

Sleeping options are clean, simple and safe. You'll sleep in a cozy Bush Pod (wooden hut) or large tent (all include bedding) whichever is available. As we are an eco camp and thus no piped water, you'll use clean shared dry (compost) toilets and super nice latrines with proper seats. We offer hot bucket showers to ease away the day's labors!
You get 3 simple veg/vgn meals a day which you will prepare in our basic kitchen (specialty/dietary foods, snacks, alcoholic beverages, cheese, juice/soda/milk are not catered for). Meat dishes are not prepared daily but you are welcome to partake when we do. Otherwise if you eat meat every day, you can purchase it during our weekly supply run and store it in the freezer. Drinking water/tea/coffee available throughout the day. What else ...
Although we are a bit remote, away from mass tourism, a 12 minute motorbike ride will get you to the nearest village for essentials, and a matatu/shared public transport will get you to Narok Town approx. 35 mins away for restaurants, supermarkets, banking, hospitals etc.
