Description
I am a German woman in my sixties (but young at heart ;-) ) who started a new life here on La Palma in 2022. My finca has 4500 sqm land which I hope to convert into an ecological perma-culture garden to become self-contained, veggie and fruit-wise. There are overgrown terraces which have been used for growing veggies before. As they have fertile soil I want to revive them. Old trees have to be trimmed, new trees to be planted to use the arid space, regular watering and weed picking is required. I have a chicken coop with four hens (Alma, Bonita, Celia and Dahlia) who need attention but also provide an egg a day each! My two lovely dogs Tom (a big one, 6y.) and Iva (the little one, 7y.) are very friendly and love to be cuddled. As for me I am an easy going person, good for a laugh, flexible, reliable, and empathetic. I love hiking, yoga, reading, singing and much more. Food-wise I call myself a 'flexitarian', meaning I mainly cook veggie dishes but also some fish and meat now and then.

I am a world travelled woman and always like to meet new people from different backgrounds with whom I want to share my new home. If you like nature you can go walking or hiking with me and I can show you the beauty of the island. Besides in Germany I have lived in Florida, Nepal, Tanzania and Dubai so there is lots to talk about different cultures.

You will stay in a beautiful little studio (built in 2023) next to my house with bathroom and kitchenette.
What else ...
I live in the south of the island with beautiful sea view. The main village (Los Canarios) of Fuencaliente is 500m down the road where you can get everything. There is a bus station where you can travel east (to Santa Cruz, the capital) or west (to Los Llanos the biggest town) or down to several beaches. Right at the house you can start many walks/hikes. I'd gladly give you a lift when I use the car.

she cooked every day for lunch, it was always delicious.
I mostly worked in the garden and sometimes around the house. and she has two super nice dogs. i walked them every morning.
