Ryan is a keeper!
We approached Ryan for his skills, which we were in need for. He is a proactive person, when it comes to work, skillful and went and mended thins, if they needed mending. As well as being efficient, hard working and very flexible. We can vouch for that, because we were a bit unorganized in our schedule, but he was always glad to

Ryan is an open minded and a kind human being. Which is so important, when people are allowed into your personal space. We will have him visiting again any time!!

Enjoyed an excellent couple of weeks helping and getting to know Bjarnheidur and Reynir. They are both a pleasure to talk with over one of Bjarnheidur's delicious meals! I appreciated that they served many traditional Icelandic dishes that I otherwise would likely not have had a chance to try. The work/free time ratio was very reasonable and had a

I was encouraged to explore their beautiful valley on foot when the weather allowed, and the setting is truly spectacular ! The tiny house is a fantastic set-up, allowing for cooking and showering and having your own space. On multiple occasions they drove me to and from bus stops, which made my traveling much more convenient and inexpensive. They took me to various villages in the area to eat or explore museums or even visit a seaweed factory. Before I left Bjarnheidur gave me a tour of the museum she runs, Eiriksstaedur, for which she has a wealth of fascinating knowledge. She also took me to a local sheep farm for a quick tour. Enjoyed some great conversations with Bjarnheidur about all manner of topics. If you find yourself wanting to spend some time in rural Iceland, do not hesitate to reach out to these two. Thanks again to you both!Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

Bjarnheidur and Reynir are amazing human beings. I stayed with them for about two weeks in May, and they welcomed me to their home with open arms. I mostly helped out Bjarnheidur in their museum organizing things and cleaning a bit to get ready for opening for the summer season. It was easy work and I learned a lot from her during the time we

Mark is a very nice guy, ready for all kinds of adventures and very flexible. He didn't shy away from cold days outside work and did overall very well. And the bonus is of course that Mark is a very good human being. Nice to have around and talk with. A pleasure to have met you!

Staying with Bjarnheiður and Reynir was an absolute joy. I stayed for a month during November and had an absolutely incredible time. They were so warm and welcoming, Bjarnheiður is a fantastic cook and I was so glad to try some proper traditional Icelandic dishes, as well as her amazing Reindeer Lasagne!!! The work was always varied and incredibly

I fell in love with Iceland years ago and try to come back at least once a year, and feel truly blessed to have met Bjarnheiður and Reynir. Their home is absolutely stunning and there really is no place in the world like where they live. :)Feedback

Bjarnheiður and Reynir were completely lovely people with very interesting pursuits! The museum and re-creation of Erik the Red’s homestead that they run are very cool and Bjarnheiður gave us so much interesting knowledge just through various conversations. They were so welcoming with sharing the Icelandic culture and history and we only wish we

Vom Host für Workawayer (Eliora)
Eliora was such a welcome help to us, this last September. She is a free spirit, a very kind and polite lady, accurate in her work, and pleasant to communicate with. We recommend her as a Workaway, especially if it involves communication with many people, she did so well! Speaking many languages is of course also an excellent quality. We are
