My name is Alexandra. I’m a permaculture designer with a deep love for creating spaces where people can simply be—to connect, play, grow, and celebrate life together. I'm part of a small team running two beautiful community-focused projects on the Maltese islands, and we’re excited to welcome Workawayers who feel inspired by our vision!
This is a great opportunity for someone who values nature, community, and meaningful experiences—and who is happy to contribute to our shared daily life in small and supportive ways.

✨ About Us
we currently run two separate projects below:
1. Garden – Gozo Island
This is our well-loved 5-year-old permaculture garden. It's a small but vibrant space where we host events like permaculture workshops, wellness circles, and community gatherings. Help here might include light gardening, watering plants. It's all about helping nurture a shared space where nature and people flourish together.
2. Education & Wellness Farm – Malta Island
This is a newer project just getting started—a larger farm where we're slowly building a space for education, retreats, and regenerative living.
We also live on our farm on Malta and would love help at our home living environment with:
-help with our newborn from October 2025
-Daily tasks like cleaning shared spaces, cooking, or light home maintenance.
-Gardening and tree care in our growing food forest.
-Animal care and keeping things tidy.
Note: During the peak summer months, we tend to slow down a little and sometimes don't accept many volunteers . The heat can be intense, so we work in the early mornings or late afternoons and take time to rest and stay cool in the middle of the day.
Everything here is approached with a community and learning spirit. The help is about shared care for the land and community.

You’ll be a great fit if you:
Are independent and enjoy working with nature.
Have some experience with gardening, animals, or community living.
Are open to learning about permaculture and sustainable living.
Are respectful, kind, and up for honest, open communication.
Are happy to help with daily life in a shared, simple rural home.
A driving license is a bonus, and we occasionally need extra hands for cleaning too!

Malta has become extremely multi cultural and the island of Gozo is very tranquil and peaceful... Lots of beautiful nature , treks and a simple peaceful place to live ... With hot summers and a mild winter :-) Malta is also a great place for cultural diversity and a more city life while living with us in nature!

The exchange for our project, includes a basic private place to sleep with additional basic amenities in the area such as a bathroom, shower and kitchen Etc . Wifi, Drinking water and cooking gas etc. On the Malta farm some accomodation is in a camper van, depending what's available when you arrive.

I enjoy doing this workaway a lot, I found a peaceful place, and had plenty of time to discover the magic spots of Gozo.
