We are interested with winter and water sport. It would be nice to meet someone who knows the best spot to practice and to share the experience.

Beschreibung

Hello everyone! We are Christian (30) and Francesca (27). A couple from Italy.

We enjoy meeting people from around the globe and learning new activities and meeting different cultures, so we have decided to sign up to Workaway and try it out.

I (Christian) have worked as an Energy Engineer for almost 4 years in Italy, but now I need a change.
Francesca is a Management Engineer with 3 years of experience.
We wish to move to Australia and try to write a new chapter of our life in a new environment.

Surf and Kitesurf is something that I (Christian) always wanted to learn, I believe Australia is the right place try them out.

Francesca is really passionated about swimming, snorkeling and rock climbing.

Plus, we are both passionate skiers and recently learned snowboarding!

We would like to escape from our comfort zone and challenge ourself.
I come from a little village in the mountains between goats, hens, dogs and cats. I am used to farm life. I like to be surrounded by animals.
Francesca has always lived in Milan, but she is eager to be closer to nature (and she is obsessed with dogs 🐶).

We think Workaway is the right way to start this totally new experience and to gain confidence down under. We are sure it would allow us to meet amazing people, to try a different way to live and to find our path.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Generally I'm quite a fast learner.
I have farming skills as I've grown up in the countryside these including taking care of animals and vegetables. Every summer I spent time with my family harvesting fodder. I often take care of my father's goats. I feed them, clean stables and doing all the farming jobs that need to be done.
Some managing and hosting skills as my family owns an apartment we let for short-time/holiday renting.

As an engineer I have some experience in hydrulic and electrical systems especially for water heating systems. I have also worked as a kitchen porter, as a delivery driver and in a bakery. Thank to my studies I can easily arrange lessons on math and physics.

Sometimes I take care of my two nieces (6 and 4 years old), so I have no difficulty to deal with children.

I will be happy to help people who want to learn or improve their Italian skills.
