Hey! I'm Lorenzo, 27 years old guy from Turin, Italy.
Full time biologist, amateur cook and climber, proud cat and plant dad. I spend most of my time in the city because of work, so I use workaway to escape the routine, travel the world, get to know and help interesting people!

As far from experiences, I got the chance of doing workaway two times: first one in Denmark, in the small, precious island of Fejo, and one in the middle of the Estonian countryside. Both experiences really struck me in the heart, from the help that I managed to give to the places that I saw, but most importantly the people, that I still hear and meet from time to time. Connections, of whatever kind, are really the most important thing we can collect and cultivate in this world.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

A fair knowledge in the biology field and a fluent english are my main abilities I guess.
For manual skills I don't have a lot of experience, but I surely am eager to learn and a fast-learner so test me out! In my two workaways I worked in farms/vegetable gardens.
I never did babysitting but I'm good with kids and they seem to like me also.
I really like animals so no worries if you have some or if you want me to work with them.

Was noch ...

Absolutely in love with other cultures and most importantly, the food. I'm a modest cook myself (mainly thanks to my italian origins) but always in search for interesting recipes and the wildest flavours from around the world.
Climbing, reading and music are my main hobbies, in case anyone is passionate too.
Last but not least, contact with nature is something I don't have the chance to experience often (due to living and working in a big city) and this is one of the main reasons of my subscription to workaway!
