Othilie: I'm a young (almost) graduated engineer of 23 years old and I am looking for new adventures! I'm traveling with my favorite sidekick to spend 3 months in New Zealand to discover the world (and not immediately become a burned-out engineer after a few weeks of work...).
Artist above all, I am curious, I love sharing and discovering new cultures. New Zealand is a country very attractive to me and I would love to discover it through a voluntering experience, I think it's the best way to meet new people et to learn plenty of things.

Damien: I am 23 and I am a young (future) engineer with a degree in Risk Management.
I would like to discover new cultures and lifestyles in order to broaden my horizons! I am curious, smiling and ready to learn new things and contribute to the community. A bit of an artist and dreamer, I would like to meet friendly people and I am ready to share their culture!
I'm leaving with my faithful companion, in this superb country which has always fascinated me!

Othilie : Jeune ingénieure diplômée de 23 ans, souriante et en quête d'aventure ! Je pars accompagnée de mon acolyte préféré pour passer 3 mois en Nouvelle-Zélande afin de découvrir le monde (et ne pas devenir ingénieure en burn out au bout de quelques semaines immédiatement...).
Artiste avant tout, je suis curieuse, souriante et j'adore partager et découvrir des nouvelles cultures. La Nouvelle-Zélande est un pays qui m'attire beaucoup et la découvrir en Workaway me semble être parfait pour découvrir de nouvelles personnes et apprendre pleins de choses.

Damien : Je suis un jeune (futur) ingénieur diplômé en Gestion des risques de 23 ans.
Je suis à la découverte de nouvelles cultures et modes de vie afin d’ouvrir mes horizons ! Je suis curieux, souriant et prêt à apprendre de nouvelles choses en apportant ma pierre à l'édifice. Un peu artiste et rêveur , j’aimerais rencontrer des personnes amicales et prêt à partager leur culture !
Je pars avec ma fidèle comparse, dans ce superbe pays qui m’a toujours fasciné !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

English :
In September 2024, we'll be graduated from our engineering school in industrial risk management after 5 years of study We both have worked in industries to manage employee safety and to reduce the invironmental impact of those companies.

Before we get there, we both had several working experiences.
I (Othilie) had the opportunity to work for 2 months on farms in Norway, I was also a seasonal worker several times in a restaurant as a bartender and in a newspaper store as a cashier.
Damien was a farm worker for a summer, he also worked in sales and had experience as an intern in Ireland for 2 months.

These experiences have allowed us to develop several skills such as being able to adapt and learn quickly (while being safe).

Fraîchement diplômés en ingénierie gestion des risques industriels après 5 ans d'études, nous avons travaillé dans des industries pour gérer la sécurité des salariés et pour réduire l'impact des entreprises sur l'environnement.

Avant d'en arriver là, nous avons tous les deux eux plusieurs expériences.
J'ai (Othilie) eu l'occasion de travailler pendant 2 mois dans des fermes en Norvège, j'ai également été plusieurs fois saisonnière dans un restaurant en étant barmaid et dans une boutique de journaux en tant que caissière.
Damien a quant à lui été ouvrier agricole pendant un été, il a également travaillé dans le milieu de la vente et a eu une expérience en tant que stagiaire en Irlande pendant 2 mois.

Ces expériences nous ont permis de développer plusieurs compétences, nous sommes notamment capable de nous adapter rapidement et d'apprendre vite (en sécurité).

Was noch ...

We love crocheting and teaching others to crochet, we also play music (violin, clarinet, piano) and we love board games (loup-garoux).

On adore faire du crochet et apprendre le crochet aux autres, on fait aussi de la musique (violon, clarinette, piano) et on aime beaucoup les jeux de société (loup-garoux)
