Hi, we are Wunja (19) and Lukas (20)

We are a couple from Germany keen to see the world and experience the way of life in other countries.

We love traveling and being outdoors, may it be hiking, climbing, swimming or camping. Most of our free time we spend volunteering at the youth organization "JDAV" taking kids into the mountains.

We work as outdoor instructors and have our own start-up with which we organize holiday camps and journeys for children.

In 2024 we already helped at a wonderful workaway (hostel) in Kyrgyzstan and are looking forward to future workaways :)

We are both open-minded and enthusiastic people, extroverted and always happy to spend time in community.

We're both fluent English speakers.Wunja lived half a year in BC (english-speaking) in Canada, and is also fluent in French and Italian after several exchanges. As Wunja works as an english tutor, she is happy to help with teaching.

Words can not describe how wonderful this family is. In just 6 days, Lakshmi and Krishna became like Nepali parents for me... I cannot wait to come back!

We spent two wonderful weeks volunteering at the hostel. It was our first workaway and we enjoyed everything about it.

As we already did some hikes in the region, we wrote entries for the Guidebook and added pictures we took. We also took drone footage of the hostel and edited some videos for social media.
