Help Needed with Packing, Moving & Cleaning (Bergen → Kristiansand, Summer 2025)- Help with moving, housework and cleaning
Hi!
We are a Danish-Norwegian mother and daughter (17) living in Bergen. I recently ruptured my Achilles tendon and am currently in a wheelchair or on crutches. My daughter is doing her best, but she’s only 17 and cannot manage the move alone – so we are looking for kind, capable Workawayers to help with a few key stages of our move from Bergen to Kristiansand:
🧳 JULY (Bergen) AFTER 13th of July
– Help us pack our apartment (20–30 m³)
– Assist with shopping and light household tasks
– Help find and collect moving boxes
– Optional: Pick up a mattress for our campervan
– Bonus if you’re an electrician – we need help finishing the last wiring for the camper (ventilation and fan)
🚚 EARLY AUGUST
– Drive or co-drive the moving van (campervan with trailer) from Bergen to Kristiansand
– Ideally with a larger driver’s license (B96 or higher), but standard license ok if trailer is small
– Help us unpack at the new home
– You can sleep in the back of the campervan during the trip, or in the new house when we arrive
🧼 MID-AUGUST
– Help in Bergen with final cleaning of the now-empty apartment (furnished)
– Cleaning needs to be very thorough so we can hand over the keys before August 31
You’re welcome to stay with us in Bergen in July. We have one guest bed (and can offer a mattress if you come as a couple). We offer meals, a warm and calm atmosphere, and flexibility.
We’re open to splitting the tasks between different people – e.g. one person helps in July, another drives and unpacks in August, and someone else does cleaning mid-August. Just let us know what you can offer.
🌍 Bonus opportunity!
My daughter is going on exchange to Brazil in August and would love to practice Portuguese before she leaves. We’re especially interested in Portuguese-speaking Workawayers, if we need to choose between more offers. We are also interested in someone in Brazil who can tutor Portuguese online.

Somos mãe e filha (17), dinamarquesas-norueguesas, morando em Bergen. Eu rompi o tendão de Aquiles recentemente e estou de cadeira de rodas ou muletas. Minha filha está se esforçando muito, mas tem apenas 17 anos e não pode fazer tudo sozinha – por isso estamos procurando Workawayers gentis e responsáveis para nos ajudar com as seguintes fases da mudança de Bergen para Kristiansand:

– Dirigir ou ajudar a dirigir o caminhão de mudança (campervan com reboque) de Bergen para Kristiansand
– Ideal com carteira B96 ou superior, mas aceitamos ajuda com habilitação padrão se o reboque for pequeno
– Ajudar a descarregar e se instalar no novo lar
– Durante a viagem, é possível dormir na parte de trás do campervan ou na nova casa
🧼 MEADOS DE AGOSTO
– Ajuda em Bergen na limpeza final do apartamento (mobiliado)
– A limpeza precisa ser completa e caprichada, pois entregaremos as chaves antes de 31 de agosto
Você pode se hospedar conosco em Bergen em julho. Temos uma cama de hóspedes (e podemos oferecer um colchão extra se você vier em dupla). Oferecemos refeições, um ambiente tranquilo e amigável, e flexibilidade nos horários.
Estamos abertos a dividir as tarefas entre diferentes pessoas – por exemplo, alguém pode ajudar em julho, outro faz a mudança em agosto, e outra pessoa cuida da limpeza. Fique à vontade para nos contar o que pode oferecer.

Minha filha vai para o Brasil em agosto e adoraria praticar português. Estamos especialmente interessados em Workawayers que falem português, ou alguém que possa dar aulas online.

Signe is studying Brazilian Portuguese. Help with home schooling would be highly appreciated. We are Danes, even we live in Norway. So if you study Danish, we would love to help you.
Hébergement
A sleeping couch in the living room or a private 1 bed room with piano and possibility of a mattress.
We live in an apartment with a terrace. We have two bath rooms, two bed rooms (usually one for each of us living there) and a big combined kitchen and living room. We live 6 min. walk from the centre train, and it's easy to access our home from the airport or train station by train, There are many nice places to hike in our area and easy access to beautiful Bergen
We eat breakfast together at 8-9, dinner about 12 and supper around 4-6 pm. We like to make healthy and green food, mainly vegetarian. We are very flexible about your needs. If you want expensive foods, please help with buying foods sometimes, since we live on a low budget.
We are both studying. I study Law and Signe study Portuguese, even it's summer holiday.
