  Greetings from Mandawa.
  
  We are thrilled to welcome you to our hotel, located in Mandawa which is a small heritage town in Rajasthan India, 150km from Jaipur and 250km from Delhi, well known for its fascinating heritage havelis and beautiful paintings from the era of the Silk Route.
  
  We are a team of 11 of us.

  Our Place is one of these heritage houses around 150 years old and renovated as a hotel in 2016.
  
  We host travellers from all around the world giving them an unforgettable experience of living in a boutique heritage haveli with a beautiful pool, garden, rooftop with the best sunset view and very friendly family-like staff. During your time here, you will stay in a good quality luxury room, a comfortable space with all the essential amenities. Not to mention, three delicious meals per day, cooked by our amazing restaurant staff.

  - Regional Culture: Learn about the rich cultural heritage and history of Mandawa and the Shekhawati region. This town and many others in this region have a rich history, specifically relating to the era of the rich travelling merchant of the Silk Road. There are many Havelis in this region, which are incredibly beautiful old buildings of hundreds of years old.
  
  - Indian Culture: You will be welcomed as part of our family and you’ll be able to learn about Indian and Rajasthani culture from our mouths first hand. We would also love to learn about your own culture and traditions.
  
  - Food Culture: You will have the opportunity of learning to cook some local cuisine directly from our restaurant staff.
  
  - We have many ferstivals throughout the year here in India and we would love to experience them with you aswell as explain the reasons and history of these traditions, especially relating to the Hindi religion.

  Aide

  We are looking for passionate content creators and marketing professionals to assist our hotel and travel agency in spreading the word about the incredibly rich and diverse culture of India. To be considered for this exchange, you will need some level of skills in the following areas:
  
  - Social Media Management
  - Content Creation
  - Online Marketing
  - Writing/blog Skills
  - English language mandatory and additional languages is a plus
  - As a bonus, if you have other skills like yoga or music or any other talents we would love to hear about that as well
  
  Equipment will not be provided and as such you will need as a minimun:
  
  - Laptop
  - Camera/Smart Phone
  
  What kind of work you can expect to be involved in:
  
  1. Creative Collaboration: Work closely with our team to brainstorm and implement innovative content ideas.
  2. Marketing Magic: Dive into the world of marketing as you assist in promoting the hotel and travel agency across various platforms.
  3. Cultural Immersion: Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Mandawa, surrounded by the beauty of Rajasthan.
  4. Warm Hospitality: Experience firsthand the warm hospitality of Indian culture.
  5. Language/Cultural Exchange: Learn some Hindi and satisfy your curiosity as you learn about the rich history, traditions and beliefs of local people of India.

  Here you can do some beautiful heritage walks to visit all the beautiful heritage buildings of Havelis. You can also visit Ramgardh, the richest town in the world in the 1700s. We are situated on the edge of the Thar desert and you may even do some camel riding through the sand dunes. Of course, Jaipur is not too far away and there are many amazing activities to do there. In your free time, we can also hang out together and get to know about each other's culture and the rich history and culture of India as well.
