Description
Hi!! This is a house in a rural village located 8 minutes from the sea. There are many of the best surf spots of the region near! Preferably would like to host SURFERS but everyone is super welcome!! It is a beautiful area surrounded by green fields, forest, animals, farm atmosphere and other houses. I love surfing and surf almost every day if there are good waves and I’m always happy to share local tips or maybe surf together. This peaceful corner of Galicia offers the perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and adventure.
It is a quiet place, where you can listen to the birds, animals and relax. In spring, summer and autumn the sunny days are very pleasant for chilling outdoors, going for a hike in the nearby forests and mountains, or just lying in a hammock with a book.
Just 10 minutes from the house by car is the town of Foz, which is very lively particulary in Summer. There, you can find restaurants, shops, bars and nightlife, and other activities if you like.
Whether it's sharing a surf session, a good conversation, or local tips, I'm here to help you enjoy your stay and make the most of your time in Galicia. You can count on respect, honesty, and a relaxed, open-minded atmosphere. I look forward to connecting, learning from each other, and hopefully sharing some waves and laughs along the way!

Aide
We offer accommodation for a maximum of 2 volunteers, in exchange for 3 hours of help per day Monday to Friday, which can be done at any time of the day. The tasks would be to help with the general care of the house outside with tasks such as cutting the grass in the field, pruning bushes, painting fences, diy... You can also organize to work more hours/day and have more days off.

Hébergement
The house is two large houses joined together, one new and one old which is being renovated, surrounded by fields and fruit trees. We live in one house and the other house is where you stay, so you have your own space and privacy.
Your house is one big room with 2 beds, kitchen, sofas, wardrobes, TV, fireplace and a bathroom... just for 2 volunteers at the same time.

MANDATORY QUESTIONS TO ANSWER:
1º The house is 10 minutes by car (40 min by bike) from the next town and so supermarkets, bars, beaches... and there's no public transport. We can NOT drive you to places and we do not have bikes. That means volunteers should share the rental of a car, or if 1 volunteer brings their own car then someone without car could come, so just ask me to organize it.
- ¿Would you be willing to rent a car with another volunteer or maybe share your own car so you can have more freedom while you are here? (Prices for rental are around 150€/week for the car, so 75€/week each volunteer).
2º¿Do you OFTEN surf? If so, what do you think is your level?
Do you have you own surfboard/wetsuit?
You would need to rent material in case you want to surf. (15€/day) or take surf lessons in a surf school.
3ºThe apartment is one big room with 2 single beds, kitchen, sofas, wardrobes, desk, fireplace and a bathroom... just for only 2 volunteers at the same time.
