  Description

  We are an organic farm on the Westcoast of Norway.
  12-14 milking cows, their calfes, and about 100 sheep. And 3 cats. The farm lay quite remote on an large island, right by the sea, and there are big mountains,and lots of forests with several hiking tracks here. Also wildlife, and fishing, got several boats, and Øystein go out regularly to fish and look after the ",viking" sheep that are roaming on some of the islands here.

  Aide

  You can learn to ; Help with milking and care for cows and calfes all year, and assistance with sheep in lamb-season (april - may), help with harvest (july-August) and a little gardening (summer). For specially interested: Wood/lumber in forest.

  Hébergement

  The main building is quite big, an old traditional timber house. Filled with books of all kinds. Covering a variety of subjects. Workawayers can have their own separate entrance, bedroom, sittingroom, a fully equipped Kitchen and bathroom/restroom.

  The surrounding nature is quite beautiful and offers a lot of possibilities if you like to go hiking, bicycling or Fishing. The location of the farm is peaceful and remote, but still it only takes 10 minutes to go to the nearest grocerystore by car.
