Bonjour,
I am Florence, mother of 3 grown children (27, 23 and 19 years old) and I am 56 years old. I'm a dynamic and optimistic person. My family also tells about me that I am generous, patient, organized, diplomatic and intelligent. I live alone in Rennes, Brittany, as my children are now independent. Two of them are students in Bordeaux and Albi, and my eldest son works in Paris.
I am working as a Corporate Relations Officer, helping companies with their recruitment. It has been a while since I wanted to take a break in my career and do something different. It is now the time and I have allowed myself a couple of months off to travel and experience some new adventures!
My volunteer project is to improve my English, currently basic level (I have had a bit of help from my children to write my profile ) and help the hosts who receive me.
I love meeting new people, discovering and visiting new places. For 3 months I have been accompanying a 39-year-old person with a disability (cognitive) in her various sports (golf, ping-pong, billiards) and leisure activities (board games, creative arts, walks in the city...) outside her home. It was a great experience spending time with this person, creating a special relation and of course feeling useful.
It is with great enthusiasm, and always with a smile, that I invest myself in my activities. On the sports side, I regularly practice swimming and hiking. I also like skiing in the winter and I know how to ride a bike.
I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing a bit of the journey together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Je suis à l'aise avec les enfants, les adolescents, les personnes agées. Je dispose d'un permis de conduire et je conduis tous types de véhicules ( boîte manuelle ou automatique); ainsi pour les besoins de votre famille, je peux accompagner vos enfants dans leurs activités, à l'école...etc
Je peux aider vos enfants ( ou vous !) dans l'apprentissage du français et converser aussi un peu en français, si vous le souhaitez.
J'aime cuisiner, et cela sera avec plaisir que je pourrai vous faire aussi découvrir la cuisine française; je pratique quelques sports ( natation et randonnée), nous pouvons être sportifs ensemble!
